I have used them for Heat Tape at the well head inside and for running a couple of old fashioned light bulbs at the well head too.  I don't think I ever really needed to do either, but it was peace of mind.

Will do, we have an outdoor utility room at the business that we need to put a space heater in each winter or we get frozen pipes when it gets in the teens, going to use this with it to see if it helps with the electric bill
