I have a old Hair dryer in the barn for the same thing...that hair dryer is from 1982 and it's a black and decker...how cool is it that it still works.

I think my wife is buying me my own hair dryer today, my daughter heard that and said "but he doesn't have any hair!"

🙁

Had about 6 inches of snow on Saturday, I told my dad not to worry about plowing I would just use the tractor, pretty impressed with the job it did, but I definitely need to get that bucket extender from xpanded.

So are you using the bucket or the back blade? I almost exclusively use the back blade, the bucket would take too long on my driveway.

I tried putting PVC on the bottom of my back blade to limit damage like this...

But it didn't scrape off enough snow. So I bought a horse mat, cut off a strip, and bolted it under the cutting edge. Works like a squeegee.

Check this out. Snow edge for the tractor bucket.

Both, I angle the back blade and do a couple sweeps, then on the 3rd or 4th one I start going down the snow line picking it up while backblading behind me, seems to be the best way to get a clean sweep with how big our lot is

Looks good. Did you previously pay somebody to plow it and have you figured out if it is helping with the tractor purchase?

No, we have a 15 year old silverado with a plow that my dad drives, we bought it when we had apartment buildings, we do all our own plowing. I didn't want my dad coming out in the storm.
