lol, I'm like 10 miles outside of the 1000 mile range, they said it would be like 10 bucks for shipping, so it would be around 760, much cheaper than the pd10 but about 100 dollars more than Tractor Supply once you add in the auger and sales tax

After reading more reviews it sounds like normal sized PHD's can be hit and miss with a BX. The TSC one should work and it would be easy to return, but the EA one will definitely work.

I was reading the page of this thread and seeing good info:

well 10 bucks is not bad...lol.  I know at least 2 people that have that brand and they are very happy. I have met 4 or 5 people that have Tractor Supply ones and they have said they are fine for light/occasional use; but for heavy use or use in tough ground they burned through the gear boxes in 2 or 3 years and that there was no help from Tractor Supply.

So...when I was looking it was a case of customer service and 'you get what you pay for'.  In the end I went with steel t posts...back then the 6 footers were $1.99...wish I stocked up some more back then.

I sold the BX. Listed it on CL for a lot more than I paid and the first person that came out bought it. Pick up should be in a few weeks -- until then it will sleep in the garage. With the proceeds of the sale I am looking to upgrade to a B-series. I have found a few B2620's I like. They have much bigger tires, a stronger loader, bigger 3 point, 3 speed transmission, etc. I think anything bigger would destroy my yard as I still plan to mow with it.

It would look something like this -- picture from the internet.
