That is a nice piece.  I have a donated portable garage frame from HF.  I set the posts in 5 gal pails and then filled with gravel (drilled drain holes in bottom of pails first)  I then tarp it and park the big diesel in there for the winter.  The issue I have is the tarp sags/stretches and it hold a lot of snow here.  Really needs purlins on the top arches.  I have been thinking of moving it close to the house and adding purlins then putting on metal roofing.  I think I would need to beef up the tubing/uprights to give it the rigidity/strength that I want...I wonder how that plastic would hold up with our snowy winters.  That is a project for later on.

People have converted them into small barns. I like this concept.

Might have found a tractor for my self .  I had an old cub cadet for 69.  THe thing DRANK gas though....like im trying to have a low footprint..that thing wants a supersized straw to the oil reserves.  So i sold it.  THe guy is going to do drags with it...the trans missions on though were super super strong..i don't plan on tilling so that was not really that important.

So when I was trying to do without a tractor with a friends metal styhe up at my other property where i grew up (28 acres...dirt road).  I was trying to see if I could do it all my hand.   We got 200 christmas tree's in the ground ...this year another 200 is going in soon.  So i also got kids usually...so that makes it more challenging...they have needs ...ya know...like silly things like hydration.... This requires trips to the spring..which was a 1/4 miles away..then to go get some tool i forgot 1/4 mile away in the shed...before long i realized i cannot do this with out something....i was just going to kill my self and get nothing done.

So I'm picking up my "new" to me tractor .

we agreed on price.  going to pick up friday afternoon ...and unless something crazy is wrong that the guy didn't tell me,we will have it loaded and home by friday night.

I mentioned in another thread what i was looking for a platform to build off of.   48 volts/aluminum chassis/regen braking/fuzzy seats/and goofy canapy thing...3 year old trogan batteries...i was actually looking for this b/c they will only be in for a couple of years before i upgrade to lithium pack.  It will double the range and shave 70% of the weight.  Lift kit will also be on the list..but right now..i am back to my normal level of super broke-ness and a strong will to not go in debt..so maybe some rear tires with some working tread to go on those exsting  stock rims (which i really of like the look of)  Ill try to get the tallest tires i can to get a poor mans lift for a while.  I just cannot see these turf tires, which are probably orginal being suffucient for fields and woods (what do you guys think?)

Looks good. I would love to have an electric golf cart for tooling around. It will be nice that you can bring your kids along, too. Do you still have your mini excavator?
