I think so. I move around a lot of stuff, want to take the kids with me, and would like the dump box of a UTV. A tractor is really nice to have but I could use a UTV more and rent a tractor when I really needed to. Plus a zero turn for mowing duties.

Speed, you listed all of the reasons I want a UTV. To have the kids with me, to be able to haul my tools around consistently, etc. I do like the idea of a golf cart but I think I need something with more suspension due to the bumpiness of our land, something that can seat/haul more, and something that has 4x4 for plowing snow. I'm pretty sold on the idea of something like this and I am trying to narrow it down to buying something with seating for 6 or just going with a straight up 3 seater (so just 1 bench seat) and throwing the kids in the bed if needed.

SpeedfunkKvr: no one NEEDS that lol. After riding on tracks with the mini excvator for around 1000 hours..wheels...ahhhhhhh.... My head vibrates when I even think about getting on it. Tracks are also really rough on terrain that you go over a lot. Not that anyone who would own this would give a F__k about such things lol
Pork: I saw the pic with your kids on another thread and figured you have similar things to consider 😀 It seems that a big tractor is needed when TILLING. Moving stuff around can be done with a utv/golf cart just as easily...maybe more so, i guess it depends on volume? This club car has shocks up front and leaf springs in the back. I lowered the air pressure quite a bit...im guessing i am about 8 pounds up front and 13 to 18 in back. This helped a lot. I can also take this on roads to visit close by friends which is nice also. All my friends swear by their utv's so I think were onto something pork. How much are the ones your looking at ?? What models?
A trailer I found is NEEDED though. The cart holds tools only. I tried putting material and it just makes a mess and stresses the suspension. I tried tools in trailer and they bounce around to much. I think damage would occur quickly. so tools in the buggy and materials in trailer. Just sharing my experience..maybe it will help others when trying to do thousand dollar descions based on internet reserarch!
Just got back from our upper landing. The little bit of flat we have on this cliff 😀 Both kids in tow...one girl wanted to rake ..the other chill...and i got to do some work instead of just baby sitting them. They will learn from watching i hope...which this kart enables.
My land has always had a bit of junk on it. I've also added some as well. This year i was finally able to address this. With the added cart i've been able to constantly clean the land...whenever there is plastic or metal..throw it in..and continue what i was doing. the land is looking more cared for latley b/c of the cart. Its just so amazing having this tool...my going on about it doesn't even do it justice. It will be my only motorized vechile for a long time to come i imagine.

All good feedback Speed. I like having the trailer on the ATV but it is hard because while the ATV has suspension the trailer does not. So even going 5mph stuff is bouncing out all over the place. I think a UTV like the Polaris Ranger would be a good fit. Most of them can haul 700+ lbs in the bed and tow 1,000+ lbs. I want a dumb bed, the ability to carry tools in the back, etc. I've researched the different models and the big differentiator is only a few models (Ranger, Mule, etc.) have 'Turf' diffs on the back. So you can lock them for grip but unlock them so you don't tear up your yard. The new Mule Pro is awesome but to dump the bed you have to undo latches on both sides, manually lift it, and then lock it all down again. The Ranger bed is assisted-up and is one lever on the driver side. It's looks like it is built with a lot more user friendliness in mind. I've seen these gently used as low as $7,500 or up to $13k for a fully loaded 6 passenger model.
I am torn between one like this with just the 3 seat bench...
And one like this with 6 seats. My fear is that this thing would be huge and not as nimble as I am looking for.
Sounds pretty thought out pork. I can say that one buddy has a polaris like you have pictured,, dump box. Older though ...hes had it a while. Hes always bombing around in it ...i know hes happy with it. Sounds like your right about that mule dump box being a pain ... a lot of manual -ness to it.
I also breifly looked into a longer chassis for more seats but detiermined the same thing you did quickly..the combursomeness wouldnt work at ll on my landscape. ESP in the woods. You look to have more field so maybe it would fit in your case.

Thanks. I just met with a coworker and he told me his family has a 3 seater Ranger. He has 4 kids too and he cautioned that the kids love riding in the thing and they are frequently wishing they had the 6 seater model. This gives me something to think about, too. Looks like I might need to lean towards the bigger model even though it may mean it is less agile.
