we talked about terracing but not specifically building the retaining wall.

That does look awesome.  I cant belive the willow is alive and begins regrowth in this process!

I know, makes sense though I guess, the amount of water a willow absorbs and with coppicing it would be ideal, I might try a small scale version on the new land
