A-frames are usually easy to frame and can be cheaper to build since the walls and the roof are the same structure. I came across the video below and was thinking that would be kind of cool if you had one in the center as the main house, one on the end could be a barn and the other end can be a workshop. 

set it in the middle of one of those pizza farm layouts

enclose the whole thing with a hedge (permaculture of course) like a boma.

That pizza farm layout is pretty cool.  I've never seen that before.

Is there a particular name for that circular (pizza) farming layout?

I've only known it as a pizza farm, they were originally designed as an educational tool for kids to get them interested in farming, the idea was to plant everything it needs to make a pizza

the oldest one in the country is out in Cali

I always thought they would be great for rotational planting, move the animals on to different wedges each year
