anyone ever done this? It's designed to be more of a introduction to a paleo diet, but from a self sufficiency stand point, long term goal would be to switch to 100 percent whole food diet, grow what you eat, eat what you grow and all that.

I've been eating fairly simple whole foods for a long time. Although I agree with some of what they say, I disagree with others. I really think different people need different foods. Although potatoes are in the nightshade family, they are really nutritious, and an "old" food.
I also really believe that local foods are important. In WV, seafood is not readily available. Also so much seafood is really toxic these days.
