The place I go to is a small family run Husky dealer. Great people and service. When I bought my Chain Saw Chaps the 'saw' guy told me that about 70% of the people that buy them had an accident or near miss. Sometimes we are stupid as humans...sure, let's buy something that can cut an oak tree into chunks, but pass on the safety gear...gotta save that $75 for gamblin', drinkin' and womin'

Actually for chainsaws I have 2 Homelites, 2 Craftsman, 1 Stihl. The Homelites are okay, just old, but I never throw things out. The Craftsman were both huge deals on close out, I know what they were selling for and it was pretty much a 2 for 1 sale, I have used the heck out of them and can not believe how well the still work. The Stihl is the small 14 inch it was given to me, free is a good price, I thought it was cute...now I love it, much easier to use and a lot of what I have been doing is smaller stuff and it's a good butterknife to have.
I have Husky safety gear and love the quality. I have a heavy farm rated Husky weed eater that I love (no gas mixing!) I would not hesitate to get a Husky Saw when the time comes. Obviously, with 5 saws I am set for a while.
