I saw it on the news...a mess...the place that was/is shot up is for people with Developmental Disabilities.  Really?!?!  Could they find anyone more meek to harass and terrorize?

Seriously, what the Hell is going on lately...are there that many screwed up people out there? 

Shooting's like this impact people in horrible ways.  The immediate victims, their family and friends, the community in general. It's damn traumatic!

A couple of years ago there was a lock down and many police on site at our kids High School, turned out to be nothing.  However, it took our daughter two weeks to come down from the event.

I teach a course on what to do when there is a active shooter situation in a medical facility...I can't  believe we have come to this...It is one of the few things I teach that staff actually pay attention to.

I can't believe MSM is pushing the workplace violence angle, we had a town meeting last night and as I was sitting there going over budgets all I kept thinking was about this. I have found myself carrying less lately, I think that is going to change.
