I went to one I haven't been to in awhile, all his scary black rifles were wiped out and everything else was 100 dollars up in price, but he did a nice nickel colt python sitting there, must resist!

I went over to the local one and he was pretty wiped out to, he said he just got back from a show and people were ordering 100 rifles at a time, he said he thought it would probably go back to the clinton awb. I was able to score the last case of 7.62x39 for my sks though

what do you guys think is going to happen?

hopefully the guys ordering the rifles 100 at a time take it in the ass when the price normalizes again. Otherwise, I am years from buying an AK instead of months.

What do I think is going to happen? I think little if anything will be done. Maybe one more stupid question on the form 4473. Are you a deranged lunatic likely to do something stupid with the firearm you are purchasing? Yes or No. Maybe spend some money on documenting and categorizing in a real usable database to identify individuals who have been deemed mentally defective by the courts. The Dems have the GOP on the ropes. Anything drastic like another ban would risk a relapse of what happened after the 94 debacle. Without the emotion, the data isnt there to support their goals. They wont risk tying this presidents hands for the last two years of his term. Lots of lip service little action. Besides right now the real enemy of this administration is the evil greedy wealthy..Right?

Ive been to a few since the shooting and it looks like business as usual to be honest. Ammo was up about a $1 across the board. Prices didnt seem to be too far off.

Cooler heads will prevail.

This whole aftermath scare, gouging deal is more about the capitalists in the private sector than the politicians. DC hasnt done shit and likely wont, yet these places are seizing the day. Same thing happened after Giffords was shot. Ironically, I bet most people dont even know what you are talking about if you mention her name. It will pass.

Just hang tight.

The dems are just as bought out as the repubs, which is why we are all supposed to like Ron Paul and his ilk.

Stores here are wiped out. Local wally worlds can't keep ammo in stock. That said, I'm about to make a huge profit on the lefty AR I bought, had a guy offer me 2k for it, I've got 600 in it... yeah, it's as good as sold for that price...

Here's a couple pics of my favorite gun store Pekin Gun. I was there about a week after Sandy Point happened. The owner said they had sold roughly 200 Assault weapons in 10 days. They didn't raise any prices either on anything. The only thing they did do was limit the amount of 30rd magazines you could buy so everyone had a chance to buy some and not allowing people just to hord them which I think was a great idea on their part. I make a point when I am here in the US working to stop buy and check out gun stores. I have still yet to find one that over all compares with this one.
