Its been well over a year now since I picked up a new folder and over the next few months I would like to pick one up. I have a Delica 4 and its ok. Its a decent size. Went with the combo blade and Im not sure I like that.

I have found that it was hard to sharpen. It seemed like it was very easy for me to rub the edge off. Now granted Ive gotten better and sharpening since then but, my Griptilian in contrast is still going strong.

How about the size? Too big possibly?

Any thoughts or alternatives would be appreciated.

I've got a Caly3, which is similar but with a flat ground blade. I carry it daily. Great knife

I've carried the Spyderco Endura for 10 years now. Great blade, but does need to be sharpened if you use it a lot like I do for everything. Lucky for me I live near Spyderco in Golden, CO and they will sharpen while you wait :)
