careful... I actually ran a 911 where a guy was shot by his dog. Makes you think twice about the old "throw the tennis ball, but don't really throw it" gag.

I heard of a situation where a guy was bird hunting and stood his shotgun along his truck, dog jumped out or something and discharged the firearm shooting the guy
