A while back I bought a bunch of uzi mags covered in cosmoline. I have a kerosene fired pressure washer in the shop for keeping my trucks looking spiffy. I disassembled the mags, turned up the heat to 200 and blasted them with soapy water. Dried them off, applied a coating of gun oil and I was done. It was by far the easiest and fastest way I have ever removed cosmoline. The self serve car wash places dont usually have the psi of the commercial pressure washers, but I think it would still get it done. As a side note I probably wouldnt try to pressure wash the stock.

OK I got it cleaned up. THanks for the suggestions boys. The gun was easy to clean, except for the barrel. I soaked it over night in mineral spirits and then cleaned the shit out of it this morning. THat seemed to do the trick. After all the issues I had yesterday with just re-assembling the bolt, I decided not to make a video. LOL. I'll post more pics of the gun later. Can't wait to shoot it!
