A local trading post was broken into a short time ago and I took 1" square tubing and 3/16 flat bar and created some security bars. Came out well.

It was 6x 20' pieces and 2x20' flat bar was around 180.

If we do it at your cabin I would like to do it as a frame on frame. Build a frame into the actual window sill and went you leave or head out we can slide these into place and bolt them in with a security bolts. Mostly for the fact when your relaxing and having a good time it wont feel like jail.
