I'm slowly building up my stable of firearms and a shotgun is my next purchase. Having my possession and acquisition permit for less than a year I am not that familiar if firearm sales are cyclical enough that x time of year often brings around good sales.
Thinking about it, it would seem things might slow down in the winter, so you might get some late year sales, and maybe in the spring some clearance.
If I have no immediate need, should I pull the trigger in August, or wait until later in the year/next spring? I am not too concerned about paying full price, as I plan on keeping it for a long time, but at the same time why spend money here that could go into the land/retraining fund.

i have the 870 supermag. 3.5" comes in handy when hunting snowgoose for example. I really saw the difference between 3 and 3.5 ammo
You can use it for turkey as well if you put a barrel with a sight on it and tight choke
there was an issue with my gun at first. The empty shells were getting stuck in the barrels. I returned it to Remington for repair and now it's been working well for 3 years or so
