my thought too...I will find out what they have available this weekend.

I would like to get a generator set up for the tractor PTO, pretty efficient and a lot of uses almost anywhere on the farm.

The one my neighbor has for his milking parlor was about 18 k...but it is a monster...Haven't looked into smaller scale yet (not done good research that is).  My understanding is that there are only a couple of manufacturers of them, obviously a specialty product, but have a long service life, not uncommon to get 20+ years out of them, they are pretty easy to service since the Tractor is the power unit.

Around here you rarely see used one's for sale.

wonder if the driveline would be long enough so you could mount it on one of those cheap HF trailers.

Go about half way down the page here....they have 10+ pix of what people did from a carry all set up to a trailer set up.  Not sure how to post those pix directly without breaking 'copy right'

...a few of the pix look like they hooked the unit right to the Tractor PTO...right???

just right click the pic, copy image location and hit the little button third from the right at the top of text area that looks like a picture of a mountain, paste the image url in the pop up screen where it says source, those are pretty slick
