riffled canon. iron sight would be minimum. Scope wouldn't hurt.

I dont know much about rifles or shotguns, but a rifled barrel is when they have the grooves, right? Do you have to swap out barrels if you're shooting buckshot or will a rifled barrel shoot both buck/birdshot and slugs?

Its advised that you swap them out but you dont really have to

at least a cheap optic. most older used pump guns have bead or iron sights. if your not confident in your ability to hit an average sized paper plate at varying yardage then it may be a good idea. good to put an animal down quickly for several reasons

I'm looking at some Mossberg 500's and the Remington 870. What is the diff between a Mossberg 500 "turkey gun" and a regular Mossberg 500?
