good reason to own a gun there. police arrived 14 mins after she called. he could have killed everyone in the house and left and still had 10 mins to spare. all the cameras in the world wont protect you in a situation like this. only a weapon of some kind will.

A gun won't protect you either. If indeed your life is in danger, and you do have a weapon and you do use it, the very likely end to this scenario is you in handcuffs facing charges. That's just CA for you.

good reason to move away from CA. where i live i coulda blasted him and would have gotten a free dinner at applebee's.
