For informational purposes, unless you want to file a FORM 1 with the ATF and pay your $200 registration fee and have had it approved and returned to you.

Once you have done that you can make a suppressor.

And I may be wrong but one other thing. You can make suppressors, and send them to the ATF for testing and approval. If they don't reduce the decibels by too much (not sure what the threshold is) they'll send them back to you. Back in the day I had friends who used to make them for paintball guns all the time. It was my understanding they were borderline illegal.

easytrapper -- I've never heard of that, would be cool if they do.

KVR and others, I created a NFA trust to buy my suppressor. Let me know if you have any questions or want to set your own up -- I can walk you through the steps I took.
