I tried open carrying once, people avoided me the the plague, it might have been my BO though

apparently WV is a big open carry state. Not much harassment from LEO's except in the big cities. While I do want to go for my CHL soon I may start open carrying in the meantime anyway.

I have been pondering and researching open carry. I think that come summer, I will likely open carry a good portion of the time. What has really surprised me is the venom that some people that cc have for those that oc. I have also found that the ignorance of law is much more common among those that cc and yet disdain oc.

Not sure how to reply to that one...we should let experience be your guide. I would suggest a stroll through a fair, a Concert, or other public venue where alcohol is being served.

I got no problem with oc but I'm gonna leave it up to others to do so.
