Hi all!
Been a while and I thought I would post a few pics of my Ruger 10-22 that I painted myself. It sits in a Houge overmold stock that is free-floated. I have a Clerke 20" bull barrel for the bullets to run down, and the Volquartsen exact extractor and Volquartsen Hammer for a lighter pull.
To be able to spot the critters, I mounted a Mueller APT 4.5-14X 30mm scope.
I think it came out pretty well, but would like to hear your input.
Thanks!

It seems to be holding up pretty well right now. It is a heavy barrel, and I don't really shoot it fast enough to get it hot. Yet. Lol.
I sprayed the whole receiver and barrel with brake cleaner before painting it so that I could get any grease and oil off of it.
When I painted the scope, I only taped it off and then painted it. I was worried about ruining the scope.
