I don't really see how he is going to be able to make a change
After a gunman opened fire at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood on Friday, killing three people and injuring several others, President Obama urged the nation to increase controls over "the easy accessibility of weapons of war."
"This is not normal," the president said in a statement Saturday. "We can't let it become normal."
"If we truly care about this -- if we're going to offer up our thoughts and prayers again, for God knows how many times, with a truly clean conscience -- then we have to do something about the easy accessibility of weapons of war on our streets to people who have no business wielding them," Mr. Obama added. "Enough is enough."

Gun control will never totally happen thanks to the 2nd Amendment. What will end up happening is control of ammo which has already begun in several places to include areas in Washington states. It's a two fold attack putting a high tax on ammo or using branches of our Gov like EPA to restrict manufacturers from making ammo. It's not cost efficient for them to continue on.
Also I highly recommend http://www.freedommu.....8;panel1-1 as a place to get good ammo at a good price especially if you can buy in bulk.

agreed. that's why I have been trying to tell folks to stock up a little if they can.
In an few days I'll have some boxes of ammunition delivered to my doorstep, ordered the night that nonsense happened in expectation of more nonsense from Washington and California. I honestly don't see how something like that will continue.
