....really?...you didn't know that?  They had an amazing selection of bird guns and rifles...it was the nicest 'gun room' I have ever been in...wonder what it is like after all these years.

Which is exactly why there should be a push to get off of it. i would rather pay a ton in state income tax and far less in federal if I knew many of the federalized services we have now would be state run, and I would actually have a tangible say.

I don't know that they really have a choice if the states get together. The federal government exists as a contract between the states. If the get together and decide that they're tired of the way things are running, that's a wrap. it's like jury nullification on a national scale.

I could honestly see Montana and Texas being able to secure a strip right down through the midwest, cutting the country into three parts. That would be crazy. Might even be better.
