Willie, what kind of knife is that?
Ok nobody cares about the 1911....:(
The knife is a Deciding Edge
A bit of information about the knife: Deciding Edge
All the materials in the construction of this knife and sheath are from The United States of America and were crafted in this country.
The steel of the seven inch bowie style blade is 154CM, which is a high carbon stainless steel that gives the blade superior edge holding ability while protecting it from rusting.
The blade has been cryogenically treated to -300 degrees below 0 F to relieve any stress in the steel, heat treated to a Rockwell hardness of 59-60 and polished by hand.
The single hand guard is made from solid brass which will protect your hand from the possibility of slipping forward from forceful stabbing motions.
The handle material is bead blasted Green Linen Micarta.
The sheath is cut, tooled, dyed and sewn by hand.
don't want to be the engineering nerd here but a "rockwell hardness of 59-60" doesn't mean anything without specifying which scale (A, B, C, etc.).
good looking knife anyway.
