nice willie

Kvr29, imo the rifle is capable of producing decent groups, especially for a "battle rifle."

Ignore placement, but this is a group the first day/trip with this rifle, only 100 yards using Federal Gold Medal Match:

Once again only 100 yards using bi pod, Serbian ammo Prvi Partizian, cheapest 308 I can find (other than pure surplus).

Second time shooting this rifle, point is, I think it is capable, especially for a battle rifle. IMO it is the best balanced/lightest 308 of this style I have held.

Very Impressive, Willie!

My groups are slightly twice yours with my PSL, but I blame the shitty ammo I shoot. With proper ammo and a trigger job I should be shooting an inch consistently. Right now, I usually have two shots almost touching, and the third off about an inch form those two.

From Left to Right

Mosin M91/30 1943 - Shoots about a Foot High at 100 yards but is surprisingly accurate. Especially since this rifle was badly abused.

Saiga 5.45 - Running a PK-01V Russian Military Optic. Awesome Optic. Very crisp 1MOA dot, 1/3d MOA Adjustments. It is heavy but very solid. 45Rnd RPK Mag

WASR3 5.56 - Running a Primary Arms Microdot (Aimpoint H1 Clone) on a Midwest Industries Handguard Rail. Decent gun. Chrome lined barrel. Sights are canted but I got a good deal on it. I havent shot it for accuracy yet, just to sight it in.

Mossberg 500A1 - Full length Magazine Tube holds 8 2 3/4 12 Gauge rounds.

PSL54c "Dragunov" - Not a true Dragunov, more like a Romanian Knockoff. Straight Sights, equipped with 8 POSP Illuminated Retical Optic. Groups average at about 1.5-2MOA. Best group I have shot was just under an inch. With good ammo and a G2 Trigger I could get the average close to 1MOA.

Sig Sauer P226R - 9mm Handgun. Never had one issue with it. Shoots Tula as well as all other 9mm. Can hit center mass at 75 yards with controlled shots.

I like it in my pocket. If I had been able to rent it before I bought it, I probably would not have gotten it. Its really not meant to shoot a whole lot. My accuracy with it is terrible. (Accuracy improved while accidentally shooting my PDX rounds through it at the range) The gun has over an inch of trigger pull. we have a guy a few hours away that makes parts for the LC9. They make a steel guide rod and have different weight springs. I think it comes with a 16lb spring, they make 20 and 24 lb for it. They also have a trigger system that was able to removed over 1/2 inch from the trigger pull.

Here is the website.

For what this gun is intended for I have no doubt it could save my life one day, It just don't get the juices flowing.
