Maybe I'm missing something, but it really isn't the pistol that's silent, but the ammo.  Couldn't they make ammo for most calibers that would be silent or greatly reduced noise?

I wonder what kind of FPS they are getting out of those bullets. E.g. 700 fps? And what do the bullets weigh.. 100gr? I think it is awesome -- I just wonder if the physics of the rod being pushed out and then pushing on the projectile somehow limits the force that can be applied. For example, normal 9mm does 1400fps at 115 gr and this does 700fps at 115 gr -- that is half the power, right?

KVR, you know someone who handloads, right? Have them do it up!
