so I put the digisight on the new hmr

I bought this to be able to record to my netbook

and it was a piece of crap and didn't work, so I went on the digisight website to see what they were using, and it was this

the reviews weren't that good, but it was the only thing I could find, there was another one, but it was almost 500 dollars and I could only find it over seas, so I ordered it

was a lot smaller than I expected

it mounts on the picatinny rail on the side, with some effort, you can see the sd card slot on the bottom, which it comes with a 2gb card

it has a cable that plugs into the night vision

but it's like 4 feet long which is stupid

here is videoing in daylight, back tree line is about 75 yards, not really focused, just testing the recording

http://youtu.be/uTIGitbmEbY

this is pitch black, at 8 pm, still not really focused, need to adjust the ir some for recording, it is more washed out than live

http://youtu.be/zR2-67Y6XFE

will mess with it more tomorrow, hope to test the one shot zeroing

That is amazing. The body count will be high. I would pay $$ to sit outside with that, in the pitch black, shooting rats.

I will! If it's wrong I don't want to be right!

operation rat is on hold, my wife and daughter both saw a skunk last night, I think it's either bedding under the shed or the coop

so I moved the scope onto the 22

now we wait

Why wouldn't you use the 22 on the rats, too?

probably will, the hmr would be a little much for them, I just wanted to mount it on it to test the recording

got skunked on the skunks last night, it down poured, I gave up and came inside
