are you guys having a problem finding primers? I overheard a conversation at the gun shop yesterday that no primers can be found anywhere

I haven't looked in forever. I bought like 6000 when I grabbed my setup and I still have a bunch.

Looks like Bass pro Shops has some online, will have to check in store and maybe turners too.

I will update this thread in a day or two once I have more info - but if I can find 'em in Cali, there ain't no shortage lol

My small local dealer often waits for a deal from the wholesaler and then buys in huge bulk to save on Hazmat shipping. As a result sometimes he runs low on inventory hunting for a deal. If I venture into town I can usually find what need, but at a much greater price.

Shortly after the last presidential election, about 30 seconds after the ammo started to become scarce primers dried up instantly. Even in town. I try to keep enough on hand and buy in large enough quantities so I don’t get nervous.

Fortunately I have to work so much in this economy to keep my household a float I don’t have time for reloading or much shooting. As a result my supplies seem to last a long time.

I have had no problems getting primers for the last two years. But now after Obama took office it was a different story but that problem has fixed itself.
