Pork called it in. It will be the Simmons 8 point truplex.
It is just a little bit more, but I would feel better with the flexibility. Reviews are a bit better as well, if I recall correctly.
I have a trip in July, so I will likely wait until August to toss it on. Is it standard that the shop you buy our scope from mounts it for you as well? I was watching some mounting videos and it looked beyond my tools at this time so if I can get the guys to mount it all the better.

Glad to hear you went with that -- I think it will serve you well. Kamikaze -- are you US based? Most shops don't do that for free. It's not hard -- if you can pick up a small bottle of loc-tite to put on the screw threads. It is like superglue and will hold the mount in place.
I wanted to use the sights on my 10/22 along with the scope. They make rings that raise the scope up so you can still see the sights -- linked below. You can go with something like that use the rings included with the scope (although you will need to put them on the rail that most likely came with your 10/22).
You won't need the 10/22 rail for rings -- they are made for the 10/22 and mount directly to the receiver.
