I have a Mossberg 835 Ulti-mag. I just about blew my gotdamn shoulder off at the range. I was shooting at 100 yard targets and hit it 4/7 times. I had to stop shooting it after 7 rds though. Shoulder couldnt take it. I got a pad for the butt but havent shot it with it on yet. Personally, I wouldnt take a shot at a deer beyond 50yds with it. I plan to hunt with my 30-06 this year but I wanted to take a deer with my Mossberg just once.
