I know several members here have them, what is the process exactly? I have talked to the chief of police about discharging fire arms out behind the house and his response was we live in a rural town, as long as you are the proper distance from a house and you aren't out there firing 20 ar-15's I will never say a thing.
With that being said, I would prefer to get a silencer for my ruger 10-22 so that if we have a nuisance animal out back, I don't disturb the neighbors
I have heard people creating trusts etc, how do I go about it, and what kind of time frame is the process?

I know someone who uses the no powder 22s and they are quiter than a Benjamin BB&T gun

KVR, you are dead to me. I wrote this up a ways back. You are looking at 6 to 8 months for approval now, I think.

I would go the Trust route -- the survive you after your death and you don't need to bother with a local sheriff. You can do more with a suppressor than with 22 CB's -- I have and use both. Just know with a rifle, since the barrel is longer and your ammo will attain higher velocities, you will need to use subsonic ammo.

I don't think those will cycle in a 10-22 though
