why dont you just lease him your land to hunt on? If hes going to keep hunting on it anyway and youre just going to keep prosecuting him, maybe that's a way to meet in the middle. You make a little money out of the arrangement and he can hunt the land he obviously wants to hunt.

Already answered this in the other thread as I saw it cross-posted there first...

can't find a price for those anywhereEarth, I know this is a huge headache for you, I hate trespassers and thieves as much as anyone but in my experience you can have all the signs, security systems, etc and all they do is prevent good people, the bad ones will still ignore them. You are spending a lot of time, energy and money into this, I just wonder if it will be worth it in the end.
Groin had a suggestion on your other thread about approaching them about leasing your land to hunt on till you move out there, is that even an option?
They wouldn't pay to buy the property, they've been trespassing to do it for free, they're in Bankruptcy, and even before bankruptcy, couldn't afford it. Even if I offered, they'd not pay and then use it as license to say I gave them permission. I have no intention of rewarding bad behavior.
I can and will get my money back through civil court. I'm a principled person. The law may not make it easy on me, but its on my side.
The way you stop bad people is to put them in jail and throw away the key.
I welcome them to ignore the new camera system once I install it. All the better to get them convicted in criminal court.
(And adding to it) It also defeats the purpose of my ultimate objective. It's no longer hunting grounds, it's a residence. Even if they paid me a lease which they wouldn't (And which there's no chance in hell that I'd ever offer), once construction resumed and once I was living on the land, THEY'D KEEP HUNTING. I need to break the pattern now permanently, in no uncertain terms, and with as much unshakable fortitude as possible. Otherwise I'll find myself moving onto the property to live and have bullets whizzing by shattering windows, going through walls, killing animals, maybe killing me... YOU DON'T COMPROMISE WITH THIS TYPE OF PERSON, YOU CRUSH THEIR WILL TO A PULP TILL THEY'RE COWERING AT YOUR VERY SHADOW.
