Welcome to the thehomesteadingboards. My goal is to make this place a clearing house for information on homesteading and a self sufficient lifestyle.

A couple of ground rules though.

No porn or links to porn. That is not the reason for this site and I want this to be a safe for work and a family friendly board. There is plenty of places on the web for that and this isn't one of them.

Nothing of a illegal nature is to be discussed on these boards. I am not a lawyer but this is more of a common sense thing. I know laws are different state by state but let's use our brains on this.

Most of my family are members here including my 15 year old daughter. So you can see why I want it family friendly. So if you could keep the Language somewhat civil I would appreciate it.

There is to be no publishing of another members private information even in a joking manner, it will just be deleted.
