Good day gentlemen!

My name is Dan and I've been a member here for quite some time, though I haven't posted nearly enough. So I figured I'd take a few minutes and introduce myself.

I first started talking to KVR oh, I don't know... maybe 5 years back on mma.tv. Immediately, I noticed a guy with a real good head on his shoulders and a wealth of useful information/wisdom... something I feel is too often missing these days. So needless to say, I've followed his postings on that site like gospel. Matter of fact, he actually wound up saving me from a very costly mistake in buying land a few years ago.

Admittedly, I haven't done a great deal in terms of homesteading, but that's simply because we're going to be moving in the near future. What I can offer the forum is a wealth of knowledge regarding sharp things. I'm a fulltime knifemaker here in Bushkill, PA specializing in outdoor knives hand-crafted in high carbon steel. I do make all different kinds of blades, but hunting and bushcraft knives are where my passion resides.

So please, by all means... if anyone has any questions about the blades they currently own, or knives they're considering purchasing in future... anything at all... please feel free to ask. Though most of my time is spent in my workshop, I do try to take a break at least once a day to get online and again in the evenings.
