Greetings from South Korea! | New Member Introduction | Forums

Hi Everyone!

My name is Little Red and I am currently in the research stage of my homesteading adventure. My husband, "Sarge" and I are currently stationed at a military base in South Korea. He and his parents own 50 acres about an hour south of Lexington, Kentucky where we plan on starting a homestead after he retires from the military in a few years.

I joined this forum to glean as much information as I can about homesteading. Thanks to Amazon, I have accumulated a bookshelf full of books on various homesteading topics. I also subscribe to magazines such as Countryside, Backwoods Home, New Pioneer, Mother Earth News and Capper's Farmer. I haven't been able to find work over here so I spend much of my time reading and doing research.

My husband and I aren't sure if we want to keep many animals but we do plan on gardening very heavily. We are also looking at several businesses that we can run from the homestead.
