Hi there folks!

I just came across this site and it looks like it'll be very informative.  About me, my husband and I are army vets building our cabin and clearing our land, in the early stages of setting up our homestead, finally getting to live our dreams.  We are motivated, educated, innovative, curious, and skilled individuals.  We plan to have gardens (kitchen herb, medicinal, full), chickens, rabbits, goats, and guinea hogs. We're trying to gather as much info as possible, learning from videos, others who have already been through this, books, whatever. Maybe we can even meet some cyber buddies!
