Hello from a currently cold and damp England. We live in a small market town about 40 miles north of London. we don't have a great deal of land and I'm restricted after an industrial injury, but we like to be as self reliant as possible, making as much as we can from basic , we generate just over half of our energy requirements. forage quite a fair bit. so we consider ourselves urban homesteaders. Not quite preppers, but acquiring that mentality bit by bit.

Enjoy trying new things, currently getting into cheese making and cold smoking..

I'm Ian , my wife is Irene and both slightly over 50.

Our other hobbies, we foster large breed dogs, and get them ready to be rehomed after being neglected or abandoned, and we are owned by our Rottweiler. and I used to do firework displays and special effects, still like to mess. but cannot do the job professionally or safely anymore.

Have relatives in Washington state, used to visit Florida regularly before my accident, loved disney for its integrated technology.. but we always came back with a dozen Ball jars in all of our cases.
