New here and just wanted to say hello! About to get discharged from the Navy and start building on my homesteading skills. Think Ill start first in building an aquaponics system (Tilapia, duckweed, and black soldier flys) as well as a compost system and rain barrels. Man its going to be so nice not having to move around all the time!!

Noticed you mentioned rain barrels, here is a place within an easy driving distance of Tuscaloosa just in case you are looking for barrels.
I mentioned these on a thread in the food section wondering if they would be ok to store some emergency back up drinking water.
