Hello - My name is Steve. I found this site from a post elsewhere by either KVR or B17.. I live in the country now in Michigan and have been slowly getting into Homesteading over the last couple of years. We lost a bunch of our provisions and planning this year with some problems at the house, but we're slowing getting back to where we were going prior to that.

Our garden sucked this year, and we didn't raise any chickens. Next year we are going to do a better garden again, and raise meat birds and egg layers.

I'll be lurking a lot and posting from time to time!

I am up in Lapeer county. I have 10.5 acres that backs up to state land. Lots of familiar names here too! Surprised so many Michiganders, that's awesome!

I am a real estate investor, and so I am all over SE Michigan all the time. My son lives in Highland so Livingston county is close to that
