I came across this site in a search for ideas for the "perfect" mobile chicken coop.  My husband and I own 40 acres and hope to have a small hobby farm by the time we retire. We just moved onto the property at the end of 2013 after remodeling the living quarters, and are excited about getting to our outside projects.  Our new tractor is being delivered next week and projects on the list for this year are egg chickens, vegetable and fruit gardens and possibly honeybees.  We also want to fence in and prep a portion of our acreage for a few steers next spring.  So much to do...I'm looking forward to learning from other's experiences on these forums!
