Hello. I am from the northern part of WV. Right now I am living in the city but my goal is to find a small piece of land in the country. I've done extensive research on homesteading, self sufficient living and everything that has to do with homesteading. It will be a challenge, living by myself as a woman but I know it can be done. Who knows, maybe there is another woman who has the same goals and we can conquer the adventure together.

Originally I grew up just out side St. Louis Missouri, joined the military and some twenty years later found myself in South Carolina. I pretty much believe I will spend the rest of my days here. I like it, little country towns, farms, and plenty of baseball. Since I have given the best part of my life to the Army,( specifically The 7th Special Forces Group ) I find that skulking around as a sales associate at Home Depot a lot of fun. Beyond that, I am not worried about the end of times. I just like being self sufficient, always have. I love to see what others are coming up with, I like your website and hope to be able to contribute to it as well as learn from it. Thanks.
