Greetings everyone! I'm MolBroo's boyfreinds ^

Anyway I work in St. Louis, MO and live in Illinois with Molbroo and to be quite frank I'm sick of traveling into that city everyday. I grew up in the country but took it's treasures for granted.

The main reason I have became interested in homesteading is to become more connected with my food. Molbroo and I eat a fairly healthy diet but today with all the information out there its hard to know what's right and wrong. Industrial farming uses too many pesticides they say one day, then the next they say organic isn't really much different. Next they say some produce vendor was busted for selling produce that wasn't really organic but passed it off that way. Grass fed beef this free range chicken that.

But enough ranting. I'd like to progress into a lifestyle where I produce/grow more and more of my food. So that I know what I am putting into my body. Not only do I believe this is important for my vitality but I believe it is good for my spirit. Essentially food is one of our most basic needs and I believe directly satisfying this need gives you a natural sense of worth. I have already experienced it from the small amount of gardening and hunting that I have done.

Anyway I'm probably coming off as a pretentious narcissist. Anyway love the Podcast KVR. You do a great job with them. We really enjoyed the one about bees. I'm excited to be here and for what the future holds.
