Hey, I'm Michelle. I'm looking to enter fullscale homesteading within the next summer or two. I do as much as I can right now with what we have, though its less than ideal. We've got chicken and a garden, but I've not pushed either to thier full potential here. Instead, I've been experiementing with things I read about online, testing various DIY methods for ... By the time we get our land, I should have a solid idea what works for me and what doesn't.

We want to eventually have a mature permaculture farm, with fruit and nut trees, veggies and berries, and animals. I also need it to develope a bit of a "child adventure land" because several members of our family will have small cabins, nestled within the trees, for vacation time of thier own. My husband and daughter love aquaponics and fish habitats. They envision a duck/fish/plant pond utopia, which is great because that is the life blood of permeculture.

There are so many things still left to learn and think about. I hope to run into some of that here, with all of you experienced folks 🙂
