NATIONAL 'health' enFORCEd programs seem to be the darling of insurance (owned by big corporations including pharma) 'providers'. If one considers who receives the 'payments' and what those companies do with the money they gather (financialized PAPER 'investments'), the term Ponzi comes immediately to mind. Toss in the human reactionary potential for getting anything that appears to be FREE or even heavily subsidized, this is for sure a train wreck heading for a missing bridge over a deep canyon.

My personal motto - The Home, a peace worth fighting for.

Our insurance is going up to almost 900 a month, with a 4000 per person deductible and 13,000 max out of pocket I believe, my wife and I figured yesterday that we would have well over 100,000 in an interesting bearing account if we went without insurance over the past 10 years of being self-employed, sadly we are at an age now where the thought of going without insurance scares the hell out of me

We didn't have 'health' insurance for YEARS and only have it now because 1) we qualify for Medicare and 2) are FORCED to 'have' insurance thanks to O-bominable Care (for insurance companies - certainly NOT ye or me).

Insurance is based on FEAR. And if that isn't enough, 'studies' are paid for by corporations/pharma/DIET industry [60 billion $/year biz!] to further fan the flames of FEAR that one will DIE at any moment from within no less. But real threats like Fukishima's constant spewing of radiation, GMO, chem trails are all downplayed and labeled 'fear mongering' so as to re-direct sheeple back into the economic slaughter pens (insurance/debt).

Cholesterol is pretty much a scam based on a single 'assumption' that has so long been accepted as 'fact' that even the AMA believes it without question. Same for 'type 2' diabetes and the 'thin cult' that results in weight GAIN. All these 'harvest' HUGE amount$ of $$$ for those who make the snake oil that - surprise! - causes what they claim to 'cure'!

Grow a pair, and have the guts to HONOR your own amazing body that is doing the BEST job it can to SUPPORT your life - often in spite of all the so called 'good' things that we think are 'healthy' but aren't really what your dear body needs.

My personal motto - The Home, a peace worth fighting for.

I have a pair, but I can't let a health issue rob my family of what we have built over the past 20 years. It was the discussion my wife and I had yesterday, she wants to cancel it, but I would feel safe to say our home is worth 250,000 at this point and our business is worth anywhere from 500,000 to a million based on different metrics. I can not let someone come in and take all that and sell it for ten cents on the dollar if I have a massive heart attack tomorrow.
