the last numbers I saw here in Maine I believe was benefits broke down to like 15 bucks a hour, I have heard from people, why go get a job for 13 bucks a hour when I can sit at home and make more, I find that mentality very frustrating, especially as a business owner, every year end I get a statement form the un-employment office that shows what i have paid in, what charges I have had from claims, what my excess is, and what my new rate is going to be. I have paid in 28,000 into the fund the past 7 years, have had 0 claims, and my rates have still gone up
