here at the kvr household, just going to hang out with my wife, daughter and father. I might venture out into the madness friday morning to get a good laugh at the knuckleheads fighting over 2 dollar towels. Probably going to smoke some of the turkey in the smoker.

My mom and nephew are heading over tomorrow. We are gonna cook the turkey on Friday and just hang around the house for a couple days. Yay four days off!!! Have a good one everyone.

Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving weekend. I got back last night from visiting the family in Virginia. My parents just built a cabin out in the woods and had everyone over for Thanksgiving. It was an awesome time and I wish I was able to stay longer.

Yeah, my dad was showing me his wood stove and telling me how he only burns a small bundle of wood twice a day. We started to discuss how it functions and I realized it was basically a super high end rocket mass heater. The firebox heats the soapstone and it radiates the heat the rest of the day.
