Sounds like fun :) I just plan on smoking some more fish. Might go to the gun range and pop of some .22 rounds.

It worked pretty good. Was cold outside so I think it was cooking at a lower temp then it should have(came out with a great smokey flavor). This time I sliced each piece to about a palm size and after rinsing the brine put a dry rub on it(no salt on the dry rub). Going to let it sit in the fridge for a couple hours before throwing it on.

Got up and went to Upward soccer evaluations this morning. After I got home this afternoon I worked on getting the raised beds back in shape, a little bit of this

and this

worked surprisingly well.

nice, my wife got me a weasel last spring, it was a pain with our beds, we used string for the spacers and had to remove them all :(

I pulled all my string before I did anything in the beds, they were getting overrun with weeds on the surface. The weasel worked good to dislodge them, then I used the hand tiller to "fluff" the soil that had been compacted. If the sun ever shines down here again, I'm gonna throw some black plastic over the tops of the beds to try to kill off any stragglers.

it's what we do, works well, I think I'm going to make a movable chicken tractor and rotate the birds on the beds as well, see how that works
