and a couple years ago, it was parked behind our old house and some ice fell off the roof and smashed the rear window, and there was some water damage to the leather

so we replaced the whole top

new muffler

in the last 4 years, we have replaced, fuel pump, heater core, brakes, tires, clutch cable, both mufflers and the intermediate pipe, and new convertible top.

So would you trade even for the 65, or buy the 66 which needs much less work and just sell the saab straight out

Wow... that would be a great base to start with. That straight six needs to be swapped for a 350 v8.. its a muscle car has to have it... would be a lot of fun to restore. Love the black interior as well.

Hey Kyle, hopefully those pictures will go thru. I read over the repair papers and found that actually my friends bought it and ran it from 1995 'til around 2010 (but they live in L.A. so used it only when visiting here). In 2008, they had two pistons replaced, the valves completely done, head 'honed' etc.,exhaust.,and then it sat for a few years and collected pine needles. How many miles on that Saab?steve

Very nice; that's a 250 inline 6 in there. Funny little engine actually; I had one in a 68' pickup back in the day. Either of these will be a fine machine K; best of luck.
