My daughter is trying to get me to read it, but she also tried to get me to read twilight but I am hearing it is a post apocalyptic themed book as well. Anyone read it?

Read it in about 48 hours. Thats working full time and also reading a few textbooks as well. I loved it.

In no way should that book be sold as a "teen" book. The characters are young but the content is very brutal and cruel. The 2nd one is great as well. Third one is good but its different in almost every way.

Read it. Its a quick and entertaining read. The movie followed the book pretty close too and it was not bad.

Did you ever end up reading it KVR? I have read them all and thought they were very good. Better then the movie by far even tho I did enjoy the film as well. Never read Twilight lol.

I also read them each in a day or two. They were easy and quick reads. Interesting enough to keep me reading, but I'll read almost anything. I've managed to stay away from the twilight books and 50 shades though...

I read them. They are definitely teen fantasy books, you will learn nothing from them. I have an Ebook copy I can loan you KVR if you're interested.
